Harmonised Draft of the Constitution of Kenya 9 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
The Committee of Experts (CoE) has released a new Draft Constitution.

The draft document has been well received by Kenyans of all walks of life as a milestone in seeking reforms in Kenya. Following the release of the draft, focus has now shifted to the details of the recommendations of COE. According to the agreed process for constitutional reform, Kenyans have 30 days to to consider the draft constitution. The Embassy highly encourages Kenyans in Diaspora to read the draft Constitution and further welcomes comments that Kenyans would wish to be forwarded to the Committee on Experts.

A copy of the Harmonised Draft of the Constitution in pdf format can be downloaded here.

This discussion forum has been created to gather diverse views relating to the Draft from the Kenyan community.

Feel free to make your views known and ask any questions that may arise.

Thank you.

Regards,

Webmaster.
