Avocado fruits have a smooth, creamy, greenish-yellow flesh with an unusually high amount of fat that is primarily monounsaturated.

They also contain a high concentration of dietary fiber, vitamins and potassium. The pit, seed, leaves, bark and in some cases fruit can be toxic to some animals, particularly birds, and also humans.

The Kenya Embassy has the pleasure to announce its support for the Kenya Jambo Night to held on Saturday, 11th September 2010 at the Teacher's Club, Parnell Square Dublin 1 from 7pm.  The event which is jointly organised by the Institute of Technology Tallaght and the Kenya Society of Ireland (KenSoi) is in aid of the Mukuru Harambee Scholarship Fund.
