The Ministry of Foreign Affairs wishes to inform Kenya diaspora in Ireland that the Government of the Republic of Kenya has with effect extended the deadline of travel on new e-Passport to 1st March 2020 .
Applicants will be required to submit applications online on the e-Citizen platform and present themselves to Accredited Immigration Passport Processing Centres locally or abroad for profiling and bio-metrics capture.
It should kindly be noted that the current valid old generation passports will be in use until 1st March, 2020 after which they will be rendered invalid.
The Government of Kenya designated six stations abroad to facilitate passport applications for the Kenyan diaspora. The centres include the Kenyan Missions in, London-United Kingdom, Paris-France, Pretoria-South Africa, Dubai-U.A.E, Washington D.C-U.S.A and Beijing-China.
In view of this, please note that the Kenya High commission in London officially launched the processing of the e-passport this month. A comprehensive list of requirements and application procedures are available on the
Kenya High Commission website www.kenyahighcom.org.uk . Kindly note, applications will be received at the High commission in London strictly on appointment basis. Appointments can be made on their website and all applicants are advised to put together all necessary requirements before appearing in person at the Kenya High Commission London.
