On Sunday, 10th September, 2017 an exhibition in celebration of “100 Years of the Irish in Kenya” took place in County Cork. The Exhibition which is travelling around Ireland had earlier on taken place on Saturday, 19th August, 2017 in County Mayo at the Áras Inis Gluaire/ Erris Arts Centre, Belmullet.
The organisers of the Cork Exhibition are the SMA Fathers, many of whom worked in Kenya over the years. The Exhibition will be open to the public from 10th to 20th September, 2017.
The launch of the Exhibition was graced by H. E. Ambassador Richard A. Opembe.
