On 22nd August, 2017 the Apostolic Nuncio, H. E. Archbishop Jude Thaddeus Okolo paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Richard A. Opembe. The two deliberated on various issues of mutual interest during the visit. H. E. Archbishop Jude Thaddeus Okolo was appointed as the Apostolic Nuncio to Ireland on 13th May, 2017.
