FOURTH AFRICA-IRELAND ECONOMIC FORUM (AIEF4)
29th -31st October, 2014
Africa Ireland economic forum(AIEF) is held annually since it was launched in 2011. The forum is organized by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, African Embassies accredited to Ireland and the UCD Michael Smurfit graduate business school.
The key objective of the forum is creation of a networking platform for Irish business and the African delegates to identify areas of mutual interest in trade and investment that exist in the two regions.
The fourth AIEF will be held on 29th to 31st October, 2014 at the UCD Michael Smurfit graduate Business School. The theme of the 4th forum is ‘Transformation through Technology’. Other special breakout sessions on 30th October, 2014 include Agri-business, Construction & Infrastructure and Managing Trade & AID-Challenges and Opportunities.
Mrs. Sicily Kariuki, MBS, the Principal Secretary, State Department of Agriculture at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries will be one of the key speakers at the Agribusiness session on 30th October, 2014.
