On Sunday, 31st May 2015, H. E Ambassador Richard Opembe met with members of the Kenya Ireland Diaspora Savings and Credit Co-operative Society (SACCO) Ltd in Dublin.
The Ambassador took time to address the members and inform them of the investment opportunities in Kenya. The meeting which took place at the Teachers Club in Dublin was a successful and informative event with the Kenyan Diaspora in Ireland setting an excellent agenda for growth of their investments back home in Kenya.
The members appreciated the continued support from the Embassy in not only ensuring that Kenyans in Ireland especially those in the SACCO are being facilitated so that they can invest with ease but also the information, advice and platform provided to them to raise their concerns which has been greatly appreciated. Kenya Ireland Diaspora SACCO committee as well as their members are all enthusiastic about exploring the investment opportunities available in Kenya and learning of more opportunities as they arise.
