On 14th to 20th February the Embassy received a delegation led by Professor Micheni Japhet Ntiba, PS for Fisheries who visited Ireland to review the development of the Fisheries sector in Ireland.
The delegation visited the following institutions;
a) The Department of Agriculture, Food and Marine
b) Sea Fisheries Protection Authority
c) Naval Fisheries Monitoring Base
d) Marine Institute of Ireland
e) BIM (Irish Sea Fisheries Board)
f) Bord Bia (Irish Food Board)
The delegation also visited an Aquaculture mussel and salmon farm, a seafood processing company, and the Irish Fishing Ports and processing Centre.
