DECLARATION OF DUAL CITIZENSHIP
The following are the requirements for declaration of Dual Citizenship;

- Duly filled form two (2). To be completed in duplicates originally
- Valid original Kenyan passport
- Original Kenyan birth certificate
- Kenyan ID (If available)
- Valid Original Irish passport (or foreign passport held)
- Original certificate of naturalization (to be translated to English if in foreign language)
Note;
- The declaration is free of charge
- All passports must be valid at the time of application
- Both copies of the form two (2) should be notarized by a lawyer or commissioner of oaths
POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE
The following are the requirements for a police clearance certificate;

- Current original passport
- Original passport used during your stay in Kenya (for none Kenyans)
- Original Kenyan ID card (for Kenyans)
- 3 passport size photographs
- Garda form (Garda form PC-65)
- Personal letter (typed, signed and dated stating why you need the certificate or a letter from your employer requesting for the certificate
- Letter from your former employer or organisation you worked for in Kenya stating the period of your stay in Kenya (for none Kenyans)
- Any other information you may find useful from your stay in Kenya
- €40 processing fee (only payable postal order, bankers cheque or company cheque)
Note;
- All Kenyans must present an Original ID for processing of the certificate
- None Kenyans applicants must submit the passport they travelled with to Kenya for processing of the certificate
AUTHENTICATION OF DOCUMENTS
The following are the requirements;

- Request letter stating the purpose of the service
- Original documents to be authenticated
- Valid passport/ID card of the applicant
- €25 processing fee (only payable postal order, bankers cheque or company cheque)
Note;
- The service takes 4 working days
REPLACEMENT OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE
The following are the requirements for the replacement of Birth certificate application;
-
- Letter from applicant requesting for a copy of the original lost/stolen birth certificate
- Copy of the lost birth certificate (if available)
- Garda abstract showing the birth certificate has been reported lost/stolen
- Affidavit of support attesting to the facts of the lost/stolen birth certificate
- Valid original Kenyan passport
- €40 processing fee (only payable postal order, bankers cheque or company cheque)
- Any other documentation that can help with the application
Note;
- The processing takes at least 8 weeks (or more)
CERTIFICATE OF NO IMPEDIMENT TO MARRIAGE
The following are the requirements;

- A request letter from the applicant for the service requested
- Valid original Kenyan passport
- 4 passport size photographs (colour)
- Duly filled application form (Form 7)
- €110 processing fee (only payable postal order, bankers cheque or company cheque)
Note;
- For a foreigners marrying a Kenyan in Kenya, they must process a certificate of no impediment to marriage from their own government
- For Kenyan marrying a Kenyan in Ireland, both partners must submit separate applications for no impediment to marriage. Application fee is per applicant
