Today, 28th September 2026, H.E. Ambassador George Morara Orina, MBS, engaged Irish business leaders in Dublin on trade and investment opportunities in Kenya. Held under the EurAfrica Business Forum, the engagement brought together Irish businesses from the finance, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, sustainable energy, oil and gas, telecommunications, and ICT sectors. The discussions highlighted Kenya’s attractive investment environment, priority sectors, emerging trade opportunities, and the potential for deeper Kenya–Ireland commercial collaborations.
Participants also had the opportunity to engage with the Kenya Investment Authority (KenInvest), Kenya’s one-stop shop for investment facilitation. The KenInvest Team led by Mr. Guracha Adi Bidu Director of Agriculture & Livestock Sector Investments showcased bankable investment, opportunities in agriculture, infrastructure, ICT & priority sectors while providing practical guidance on investing in Kenya.Later in the day H.E. the Ambassador held a luncheon meeting with the Spiritan Provincial & priests at Kimmage Manor, Dublin recognising the Spiritans’ longstanding contribution to Kenya’s development particularly in education, healthcare & community development.
The engagements reaffirm the enduring Kenya–Ireland partnership and the commitment to building stronger business-to-business, institutional, and people-to-people connections.
