Emergency travel document

  • You must book an appointment online before visiting the Embassy.
  • It is recommended to apply for an emergency travel document no earlier than two weeks before your travel date.
  • Confirm which airline and routing you will use before submitting your application.
  • Dual nationals holding another country's passport are not eligible for an emergency travel certificate.
  • Two duly completed application forms.
  • A letter explaining the emergency.
