It is my distinct honor to welcome you to the official website of the Kenya Embassy in Dublin. The Embassy was inaugurated in September 2007 and serves as a vital link between Kenya and Ireland.
This website provides accessible
information on the services offered by the Embassy, our commitment to delivering professional and proactive support, opportunities for mutually beneficial trade and investment, consular services for the Kenyan diaspora, and key links to the Government of the Republic of Kenya. The Embassy’s Strategic Plan 2023–2027 guides our programmes and activities.
Kenya and Ireland have enjoyed warm and cordial relations since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1979. Ireland reopened its Embassy in Nairobi in 2014, further strengthening bilateral cooperation.
Our excellent relations are rooted in
strong historical ties, dating back to the presence of Irish missionaries in Kenya in the early 1900s. Today, collaboration spans diverse areas including
trade, agriculture and food security, education, health, tourism, sports, culture, and community development.
