Change of Particulars

  • All Kenyans aged 18 and above are eligible to be issued a National Identity Card.
  • Persons who acquired Kenyan citizenship by registration are also entitled to a National ID.
  • If you have lost Kenyan citizenship, you must first apply to regain it before applying for any other Kenyan documents.
  • Kenyans holding 1st-generation ID cards are required to apply for the 2nd-generation ID.
  • Please bring the original and a copy of your valid Kenyan passport.
  • Please bring the original and a copy of your Kenyan birth certificate.
  • Please bring a copy of your parents' Kenyan ID card(s).
