Information

Trade and Investments

The Embassy actively promotes two-way trade and investment between Kenya and Ireland, connecting Irish businesses with opportunities in Kenya's growing economy and supporting Kenyan enterprises seeking partners in Ireland and the wider EU market.

Priority sectors include agri-business and food technology, ICT and the digital economy (building on Nairobi's status as the "Silicon Savannah"), pharmaceuticals and life sciences, renewable energy, and financial services and fintech, including Kenya's globally recognised mobile money innovations.

The Embassy works closely with Kenya's Ministry of Investments, Trade and Industry, KenInvest, and Enterprise Ireland to facilitate trade missions, investor briefings, and business-to-business introductions. Irish and Kenyan companies interested in exploring opportunities are welcome to contact the Embassy's Trade and Investment desk for guidance.
